Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients. Here are some of the common tasks and responsibilities of an HCA:  

Patient Care:

• Personal care: Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.  

• Comfort and support: Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.  

• Observation and monitoring: Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate), monitoring patients' conditions, and reporting any changes to the nursing team.
